NONE of THAT happened!
We had so many expected things happen. Good and Bad.
As summer approached, I became sad, missing having a home with a pool. I knew I'd have to drag Austin to the community pool which would be No Bueno! He hates the community pool! I quickly found myself needing a serious vacation, physically and mentally. All I could think about was a week at the beach (or more if I could convince Dale)...
I spent days looking for the best deals, seeing how far I could get our "pesos" to stretch.
I was busy, busy searching for good deals to Rocky Point when Dale surprised me with a trip to Florida to see my cousin :) I didn't hesitate one second. That trip was booked within seconds of the words leaving his lips!
Book our trip in .5 seconds? CHECK!
A few months before, I'd been peeking around for properties with pools and to my surprise, about a week after booking our FL trip... I found a fab house with an amazing pool. Move in date... ONE week before our FL trip. Needless to say, the stress of packing to move and packing for our trip really started to set in!

I left my new pad in shambles! But I was soooo looking forward to spending a week in SUNNY Florida!
Beach time. Yes. Please.
I have to say, when we got back home... I felt so overwhelmed by the mess in our home. This was the hardest move ever! Not sure why because I've moved while pregnant and with a toddler and a 5yr old and it didn't seem as hard.
JUNE consisted of painting a couple of rooms in our new pad, continuing to TRY make our stuff "fit" and finding new things to fill all the empty spaces... I was trying to keep up with everyday chores and Dale squeezed work in every second he could find. Our precious Mr.Wilson had his 6th birthday. We celebrated Father's Day, my dad's bday, and Dale and I celebrated our 19th Anniversary!
JULY has been a bit of a roller coaster ride. We've celebrated happy times with family and friends and a really sad time as we got shocking news about my cousin's sudden death a couple of weeks ago. Here we are the last two weeks of summer vacation before Ethan begins a new adventure in Junior High School and Austin starts as a freshman in High School!
AUGUST I'm looking forward to hear all about their first day of school and I'm soooo looking forward to getting back into my daily routine! I'm looking forward to blogging again! I'm looking forward to getting fit and working out again and I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I'm looking forward to our beautiful, cooler, Arizona weather! I know, I know... that's in 3 months plus... WHERE THE HECK IS OUR MONSOON THIS YEAR?
